Different cities celebrating the cultures and foods of another. Bringing everyone even closer. With all kinds of ingredients easily available in supermarkets, its easy to create new dishes. Just toss your local vegetables with Asian or Mexican sauces, try Indian masalas to make a spicy curry. No matter where you are in the world you can whip up authentic dishes or opt for fusion creations.
Good news to all the people who love Indian food. If you can travel to Las Vegas on April 30th, the entertainment capital of the U.S. will be hosting its 13th annual festival called “Vaisakhi Mela,” an event that celebrates India’s amazing food and colorful culture. It will be held at the Clark County Amphitheater in Las Vegas from 11 AM – 9:30 PM.
Vaisakhi is not only celebrated in Las Vegas; it is celebrated in India every year as it showcases Indian cultural and historic events to the public. Since the U.S. has a lot of immigrants coming from India, Sin City has decided to have their own celebration of Vaisakhi every year.
This year’s Vaisakhi celebration will consist of a lot of exciting events, including performances from artists from various U.S states and India, as well as other countries. Of course, authentic Indian food will also be prepared on site by hundreds of food stall owners that will be featured at the event. There will also be a fashion show and Bollywood Dance competition — which is an extremely popular segment in many Bollywood Movies.
Las Vegas used to be only known for its glamorous hotels and casinos but now, it’s also renowned as a melting pot for art, music, and culture. Sin City has been trying its hardest to broaden its entertainment in order to not only attract gamblers to the city but the general public as well. Modern Japanese I would call it … Leaning towards healthy as you’ve been seeing lately, thats all I can think about, “when in routine.” Its nice to have interesting ingredients lying around the house, which makes your job in the kitchen easy and still you feel like you’re eating something fancy.
